Today, Vanessa is a superstar. Thanks to Vanessa a younger generation knows that Beethoven is not just a nickname of dog from the same movie and "Four Seasons" is not a grunge attitude, but a great music for the feet. Vanessa is amazingly popular: according to People magazine she is among "50 most beautiful people of the World", whereas FHM magazine named her one of "100 most beautiful women in the World"; she played Bach for the members of the royal family and represented wedding dresses by Jean-Paul Gaultier at the fashion week in Milan. Vanessa Mae has toured 50 countries and performed on all the best stages of the world. Vanessa's first performance was when she turned nine years old. She played with the Philharmonic orchestra when she was ten. She was the youngest student in the Royal College of Music. In October 1991, Vanessa Mae recorded her debut CD Violin. In 1992 she took her electric violin Zeta for the first time. In 1994 she released her first breakout album "The Violin Player". The album began to pick up steam in popular-music quarters, and made several world-wide charts. By then a citizen of England, she was nominated for a "BRIT Award" in 1996 as Best British Female and awarded an overwhelming number of votes due to her popularity. Storm followed in 1998, and a year later she returned with The Original Four Seasons & The Devil's Trill Sonata. Our country adores Vanessa Mae, she gave numerous concerts in Moscow and other cities of Russia, gathering capacity crowds, and therefore, we expect her miraculous return with a new show.
