At the end of last year a Russian Gothic rock group "Agatha Christie" introduced new musicians and unedited songs of the new concert program. Therefore news about project completion named "Agatha Christie" was a bolt from the blue for the fans.
For people of different age groups their songs had become a window to the world of rock music. A number of awards and prizes, which the band won, is great. It is the only Russian rock group, which won four national "Ovation" prizes. In 1997 "Agatha Christie" was an international prize winner of "World Music Awards" as the most popular Russian music band. The band, which has justly become a prize winner "Chartova Dujina-2009" in "Legend" nomination, will definitely be a legend.
In April, 2009 "Agatha Christie" has started its tour visiting Central Russia, Ural, Eastern and Western Siberia as well as Germany and Belarus. Alongside with the tour the band is working on the album, which will get its name from the tour "Epilogue".
The band gives its fans the last opportunity to admire the original group membership. Its faerie concerts on the stage of the biggest and most prestigious concert halls of 2 capitals will be the culmination of the farewell tour. An entertaining show with a stunning visual tracking takes place in the Olympic Sports Center in Moscow and in the "Ice Arena" in St. Petersburg.
A large recital of the band in the Olympic Sports Center was a striking moment in the biography of "Agatha Christie", which was played in honor of their 10th Birthday on February 21, 1998. Incidentally, for the first time in history it was decided to organize a dancing floor at the concert. Years later, on November the 17th, fans of the band will be gathered in the biggest concert hall of the country and choir the hits of their favorite musicians.
"Epilogue" of "Agatha Christie" is not a posh goodbye party. It’s just a statement of the fact that we are finishing a long-lasting and significant period of our collective music and human life.
