The festival of Beatles’ music

An annual festival which is hold by the club traditionally gathers the best Russian teams, playing the music of The Beatles, and as well the famous foreign tribute teams. On the 21st of March you can hear the songs of Liverpool quartet played by Moscow team The Beatween, which appeared some years ago at Liverpool festival and crushed even spoilt British public by their skill. Also Beatles’ songs will be performed by Heartbeat (Moscow), Saint Petersburg team Puttin Beatles, which plays The Beatles on the button accordions, the duet Double Fantasy (Minsk), which is created by the participants of Byelorussian team "Pesnyary" Vladimir Tkachenko and Victor Molchanov and Moscow team Dans Ramblers.
Legendary Pete Best with his team Pete Best Band (Liverpool, Great Britain) and Argentinian team Nube 9 will play at Moscow stage as a headliners of the festival.
Pete Best can be shortly characterized with two words - "fifth beatle"! Excepted John, Paul, George and Ringo, Pete played in The Beatles longer than somebody else. During team’s rising, Best constantly was at the stage with John Lennon, Paul McCartney and George Harrison. Pete Best’s manner of playing greatly influenced on forming of The Beatles’ special sound in 60s. In 2008 new studio disc Pete Best Band appeared named Haymans Green – due to the name of the street where legendary club Casbah was situated (The Beatles began their career there). Pete Best not only played on drums in this album, but he is the co-author of all compositions. According the opinion of many team’s admirers this album is more  "The Beatles", then the last works of Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr.
Nube 9, which was called so in honour of George Harrison’s album Cloud 9 (Nube 9 is translated in English as Cloud 9), - is one of the most known tribute teams in the world which plays the music of The Beatles. Argentinian band is a permanent participant of the most significant Beatles-festival in the world - Beatle Week in Liverpool. Nube 9 also is a permanent headliner of Latin American Beatle Week, which takes place yearly in Cavern Club in Buenos Aires during last eight years.
