"The Beauty and the Beast" musical opens a new season!
The most successful and favorite theatrical performance of the year is coming back on the stage of Moscow Palace of Youth! During the first season the theatre couldn’t meet the buoyant demand from all willing people. According to production directors, only one third of people  willing to watch the show had a chance to visit the performance. Therefore it was decided to open the second season of the musical "The Beauty and the Beast" and start ticket sales.
During the first 8 month of staging, from October,2008 till May,2009, this musical won hearts of 400 000 people, including famous spokesmen of culture, politics, show business and sports. During the first season the musical was watched by Sergei Maiorov, Svetlana Masterkova, Oksana Fedorova, Svetlana Medvedeva, Valeria, Yana Poplavskaya, Tatyana Lazareva, Lolita Milyavskaya, Evgeney Mironov, Lyudmila Gurchenko, Iosif Kobzon, Andrei Malahov, Ekaterina Strigenova and Alexander Strigenov, Natasha Koroleva and Sergei Glushko, Sergei Bezrukov, Aleksei Yagudin, Tatyana Tarasova and many others. The Russian Pop star Philipp Kirkorov managed not only to watch the music, but to play on the stage as a "star guest" in the role of Prince. The first season of the musical raised founds amounting to more than half a billion rubles! "The Beauty and the Beast" musical overpassed MAMMA MIA! (another performance of "Stage Entertainment") in the popularity and theatre attendance.
The authors of the Broadway "The Beauty and the Beast" musical version, legendary composer Alan Menken and author of the libretto Tim Rice considered the Russian direction of the musical one of the best in the world.
"I watched "The Beauty and the Beast" in many countries, but this is one of the best directions ever, - says Mr. Rice. – "Dazzling actors, awesome decorations, excellent choreography! I’m so happy that the theatre is full of children: I remembered a small boy, who was laughing more than ever in his life!"

Each spectator (independently from his/hers age) must have a ticket!

The musical takes place daily (except Monday) in the Moscow Palace of Youth. Curtain-up: 19.00 at weekdays; at 14.00, 19.00 at week-ends.
Duration – 2.30 hours with one 10 minute act-wait.
